Image manipulation is when images are enhanced, manipulated, altered or modified in a way that's pleasing to our eyes or to obtain a certain effect for certain reasons/goal objective we have in mind. Basically, it is anything that changes an image from its original state. Â
You can use free software like Gimp or pay for the likes of Adobe Photoshop, that professionals use. Some things you could do are removing blemishes on a face, changing backgrounds, smooth out rugged areas, cropping, changing to black & white, combining multiple elements etc.Â
