Techquity began as a partnership between a group of secondary school Digital Technologies teachers in Ōtautahi (Christchurch). With the implementation of the refreshed Digital Technologies curriculum in 2024, we saw an opportunity to fill a gap to develop and share practical expertise and classroom-ready resources with kaiako across Aotearoa.
In 2026, Techquity has expanded to include curriculum content and resources across primary, intermediate, and secondary settings — with a growing focus on Digital Technologies, Computer Science, and Electronics & Mechatronics, alongside purposeful connections to other areas of Technology.
This project would not be possible without the generous support of these organisations:
Techquity is a community hub of shared resources and behind it is a small team bringing everything together into one cohesive, easy-to-navigate space. We organise, curate, design, and support the platform so teachers, students and whānau can confidently find what they need across primary, intermediate, and secondary.
