In this project you will be recording yourself using OBS to play some internet games and speed run it. The suggested games are the New York Times Games which include the Mini Crossword, Wordle, and Connections that can all be played for free. If you are choosing your own games then make sure it is something short like Minesweeper, or Snake. Again the intent is not to make an awesome video but learn the tools as quickly as possible.
You may need to record the video at home depending on what software is on your schools computers and if you have access to a microphone. OBS is a free software available on Windows, MacOS, and Linux so you wont need to pay anthing to install it at home.
To get started have a look at the Quick Start Guide on the OBS Page. This will get your OBS set up as easily as possible.
Once you have set it up do a few test recordings, make sure your microphone levels are good an that everything else seems to be working.
Now you can start recording game play for your video.
OBS natively records video in MKV files, there are lots of advantages to doing this, chiefly that if something crashes while you are recording then you will not lose all of your video to corruption errors. MKV files however are not very compatible with other software so you will need to remux these files which is easily done with OBS.
Now that you have exported your video you can import it into Premier Pro like you have done for the first project. You can now put in a title card, transitions and other effects.
