Techquity brings together effective classroom practice from across Aotearoa, so you don’t have to start from scratch or reinvent the wheel. At primary level, the focus is on Designing, Making and Innovating. Intermediate is a rich space where learning can happen through lots of different classroom contexts, so these resources are designed to support a variety of scenarios. Some resources sit within a single area, while others combine areas to show authentic integration. In the secondary space, the focus shifts into specialist pathways, with resources for Digital Technologies, Computer Science, and Electronics & Mechatronics.

At primary level, resources are designed to show authentic integration of Technology with other areas of the curriculum. In the intermediate space, the focus is on two of the four Technology areas — Digital Technologies and Systems and Control — with many resources also integrating Design and Innovation and Materials and Ingredients.

What started as a single website responding to growing demand for secondary Digital Technologies has, thanks to its positive impact, quickly expanded to include Primary, Intermediate and the newly created Electronics and Mechatronics area.
